About
Learn knitwear basics by sewing 1-2 pairs of your own gender and/or size inclusive boxer brief, pad compatible boxer brief, packing boxer brief, or compression (aka tucking) undies.
101 workshop will learn to sew underwear on a regular sewing machine. Little or no sewing experience necessary.
201 workshop will learn to sew underwear on a regular sewing machine and/or serger and coverstitch machine. Intermediate sewing experience required.
10 students per workshop
Each workshop is 5.5 hours, includes lunch, and a ten minute break each hour
All supplies will be provided including fabric and sewing machines to work on.
Accessibility accommodations for disabled and/or chronically ill folks will be made including ASL interpretation if requested.
LGBTQIA+ prioritized, and some slots reserved specifically for low-income, plus-size, BIPOC, and disabled/chronically ill folks.

Important Workshop fee details:
Your individual workshop fee or fee range is based on a combination of your application responses, grant funding we received, and the remaining budget needs of the workshop. If given a range, the exact amount is up to you. Of course, if it’s not a financial burden to pay on the higher end of your range, that is most helpful for the sustainability of these workshops.
Participants with a $0 fee are still required to register through the website, though payment information will not be taken.
Refunds will not be issued if a participant cancels 4 days or less prior to the workshop. If you cancel with enough notice we will try to fit you into the next workshop if possible --though for 201 students that would mean taking a 101 class.
If a participant no shows without notice, they will not be considered for another workshop in this series.
